Salmon exports have given our country worldwide prestige. Market demand increases yearly about 10% and El Golfo has seized this great opportunity.



In 2005 we undertook one of our most important business ventures in recent years, by leasing the rights for the use of marine waters in 23 areas located 120 miles South of Chiloé.



In those water concessions -as the leased sea areas are known in Chile- we are setting up the farm for Trout. Most of the farms are already in production and within a few years we expect them to reach the 12.000 tons/year production target, because El Golfo's goal is to be among the 10 biggest Chilean salmon farming companies.
