El Golfo's two Fishmeal and fish oil plants have a joint yearly production of 70.000 tons. Located at Rocuant island (Talcahuano) and the port of Corral (near Valdivia, in Southern Chile) they are supplied mainly with Jack Mackerel by our purse seiner fleet.

Fishmeal is exported to be used for feeding salmon, shrimps and eels. Fish oil is sold in Chile and abroad, not only to be used in fish and shrimp farming, but also as the basis for several products for human consumption.
