El Golfo’s Purse Seiner Fleet has seven vessels, all of which are equipped with fishing high technology equipment that enables them to efficiently perform their work, which includes shoal detection, resource catch and conservation on board and unloading process.

Main resources caught are jack mackerel, sardine and anchovy. Jack Mackerel corresponds to oceanic fishing and it is used in the production of different products for human consumption such as Prime Fish Meal. Sardine and Anchovy are fished together and its capture is strictly coastal fishing. Said species are exclusively used in the production of Fish Meal.
